North West Rocks Michael Jackson's Actual 'Smooth Criminal' Hat For Halloween Costume, Twitter Finds It 'Creepy'
About six months after Kim Kardashian wore Marilyn Monroe's dress to the MET Gala, North West unveiled a costume incorporating an accessory that Michael Jackson wore back in the 1980s.

With Lizzo dressing like Chrisean Rock and Skai Jackson channeling her inner Janet Jackson, numerous celebrities paid homage to some real-life stars this Halloween.
North West, the eldest child between Kim Kardashian and Kanye “Ye” West, followed suit and dressed as the one-and-only King of Pop for the late-October holiday.
However, North’s Michael Jackson costume didn’t include your standard faux leather jacket and singular glove, as the 9-year-old’s get-up included the actual hat that the late performer wore during his “Smooth Criminal” music video.

People on Twitter weren’t exactly gung-ho about the costume, though, as some users argued that the 9-year-old wouldn’t recognize the significance of the hat she was wearing for a mere Halloween get-up; as such, individuals suspected that Kardashian was the one behind the lewk, and she was slammed online.
Now why the hell did Kim K need to give North West, Michael Jackson’s actual hat for Halloween. I swear half the people she dressed the kids up as don’t even know who they are dressing as smh. Let kids be kids and PICK THEIR OWN COSTUMES!

Additionally, it’s worth pointing out that MJ isn’t the only star who North dressed up as this year, as her mother uploaded a photo showing her channeling Aaliyah alongside her siblings, who were dressed as other noteworthy musicians.

However, ahead of a Halloween party, North decided to ditch these celebrity-based costumes in favor of one that was a bit scarier.
