Rapper Offset has lost a relative to COVID-19.

The rapper took to Instagram to express his grief for his great uncle, reports Complex.

"Smfh this corona shit done killed my great uncle," he wrote. "Rip uncle Jerry damn man."

In a second Instagram story post, he asked his followers to pray for his family.

Neither of the other two Migos, Takeoff and Quavo, who are related to the 28-year-old, has publicly spoken about the loss.

Last month, Offset urged everyone to stay healthy when he posted a selfie on Instagram in a mask, with the caption “STAY SAFE & STAY PRAYED UP.”

It seems as if he and his wife and fellow rapper, Cardi B, have been taking precautions to avoid contracting the coronavirus, as the “Drip” rapper took to Instagram to show off how her husband has been passing the time while stuck in the house.

“Look how bored he is. Look at how many blunts he rolled already,” she said as she recorded Offset.

Cardi has also been very vocal about the coronavirus pandemic. Back in early March, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper posted a video to social media saying she was “a little scared” and the virus has her “panicking.”

“Government let me tell y’all motherf**kers something, I don’t know what the f**k this coronavirus is about, I don’t understand how that s**t was from Wuhan, China, and now all of a sudden this s**t is on motherf**kin tour,” she said. “And let me tell y’all something, I ain’t even going to front, a b***h is scared.”

In the video, which has come to double as a PSA, the rapper yelled “Coronavirus! S**t is getting real!” The five words became inspiration for a full-fledged song.

DJ iMarkkeyz, who specializes in remixing viral clips, made a song of Cardi screaming coronavirus over a trap beat. The song reached the top 10 in the iTunes store, reports NPR. While the song may have started off as a lighthearted joke, both Cardi and iMarkkeyz vowed to donate all the proceeds from the song to help those affected by COVID-19.

Kulture’s mom also teamed up with Fashion Nova to donate money to families in need. For 42 days, she and the fashion brand will donate $1,000 to a fan every hour, reports Page Six.

“Many of you are struggling to pay bills, feed your families, and take care of your overall essential needs,” she wrote. “#FashionNovaCARES & I are giving away $1,000 EVERY HOUR until we’ve given away $1 MILLION DOLLARS to those directly affected by this crisis.”

She said with this giveaway, she’s making sure the money she donates is going straight to the people rather than going through charities. She urged her fans to not be scared to ask for help in these hard times.

“We love you guys and we are so thankful you guys have been supporting us for so long. It’s time for us to support you guys back,” she said. “I love you and don’t be shy, sometimes you got to motherf**kin ask for help.”
