Cam’ron and Omar Gooding’s months-long feud shows no signs of ending anytime soon after the rapper’s latest stunt.

According to Complex, the pair’s beef began when Cam referred to Gooding as “Omar Gooding Jr.” on his It Is What It Is podcast.

Since then, Gooding has dropped three diss records in response to Cam, to which the rapper admitted they were “pretty good.” However, in his latest Instagram video, the Harlem native revealed how he conned the actor.

What did Cam say in his diss track?

“When I did my freestyle, I said, ‘Please don’t mention me with no Omar Gooding.’ He did another record,” Cam explained in his video.

The Diplomats alum said he booked Gooding for an unreleased film in Miami a few weeks ago. Although the stunt reportedly cost him $3,500, Cam’ron appeared unfazed as he recounted how he tricked the actor.

“That movie never coming out,” Cam said. “I booked you. And I was laughing at you behind the scenes. I was there. I was sitting there laughing at you.”

Gooding responds to Cam

On Tuesday, Gooding responded to Cam, thanking him for the free trip to Miami and the $2,500 he received for doing pushups with his shirt off. Gooding continued, asking Cam to book him for more unreleased gigs and even a trip to Ibiza. The actor appeared unbothered by the rapper’s antics and teased that more music would be coming out.

In December, Cam referred to Gooding as his brother, taking shots at the Smart Guy actor over his stalled acting career, and said that 50 Cent would be the only person to make him relevant again.

“No disrespect to nobody I’m talking about, like Ving Rhames, you sitting around, or Omar Gooding Jr., y’all n***as sitting around, I would have saved my money and shot my own s**t by now, but the Black actor has to sit around for a 50 Cent or somebody in your lane to come pick them up [and] put them in something,” he said, per HotNewHipHop.

Cam’s now-viral comment sparked a series of diss tracks from Gooding, who has engaged in insults with him on social media.
