Yeah, so, uh, I'm not sure what to make of this one; It's not a project I knew about before today, even though I thought I was aware of all Omar Sy's upcoming projects. Although it looks like his role in this one is a supporting part, not starring like most of the others.
I say I'm not sure, because, first, what's up with that horrible wig on his head (see photo above)? I know it's a comedy, but still… it just looks really silly, and not silly in a good way.
But maybe if I understood what was being said in the trailer below (it's in French, and not subtitled), it would all make sense, and wouldn't seem so awfully silly.

The film, which is scheduled to hit theaters in France on December 5th, is titled Mais qui a re-tué Pamela Rose (or But Who Re-Killed Pamela Rose), and its synopsis reads (translated with Google Translator, so it may not be absolutely perfect): Upon receiving a call from a superior, alerting him to the fact that Pamela Rose's coffin has been dug up and stolen, Detective Douglas Riper sees an opportunity to reconnect with former partner Richard Bullit. Apparently, a quarrell separated them. The two former glorious FBI agents, now has-beens, find themselves deep into investigating the desecration of Pamela Rose's grave, without knowing that they are actually being lured into a trap by a man who greatly wants to eliminate them. And, oh, by the way, there's a subplot having to do with their knowlegde of an assassination plot on the life of the President of the United States, played by Audrey Fleurot.
French filmmaker Eric Lartigau directs what is being described as a parody of Hollywood buddy cop comedy films, which is, interestingly set somewhere in the American Midwest, even though it's a French film.
It stars French comedic television stars Kad Merad and Olivier Barroux, who are also the film's screenwriters. And as noted, Omar Sy plays a US Secret Service agent, called Mosby.
