Omarosa Manigault-Newman has had a lot to say since her abrupt departure from the White House in late December. On Sunday, when she was booted off Celebrity Big Brother, she said leaving the White House was like getting "freed off of a plantation."
Before her departure from the show, Omarosa revealed that she was thinking of writing a tell-all. She claimed that she had been "muted" due to her loyalty to President Trump, and that her "streets" upbringing had taught her to keep her mouth shut.
"I'm from the streets, you know," she said. "Snitches get stitches."
Now, however, she feels the need to tell the world about her experience in part, she said, because she feels the president is "a special kind of f*cked up."
Later, Omarosa lamented that she was "literally the only African American woman in the senior staff," she said. "Nobody knows what I went through, nobody's seen – I haven't even told people the… like some of the horrors I've experienced."
She explained that not only did people at the White House dislike her because she is black, she also was disliked for being a woman.
Having endured months of battles, she claimed that she was happy to go.
"I'm emancipated," Omarosa said. "I feel like I just got freed off a plantation. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus."
