On Repeat: John Legend pulls in Chance The Rapper for groovy "Penthouse Floor"
John Legend and Chance The Rapper for this grown-as-hell jam.

John Legend may actually be a legend at this point. But for all the crooning, sometimes he needs a rap God to add a little uncertainty to a certified jam. My favorite of these is "Green Light" featuring Andre 3000. While it's elements are signature Legend, a chill piano, a lofty drum beat languishing in four-four, 3 stacks adds a thrill and sense of adventure to a track that'll help you move.
Chance plays a similar role here, his verse breaking into a "Love Jones"-esque cadence. I was about ready to have the Chi-town emcee break out into a line about being the funk in whatever woman you imagine's right thigh.
Get your feet wet below. And look out for Legend's record, which is barreling toward us at the speed of Trump.
