One woman's video of a Walmart in Lancaster, California, locking up the natural/black hair care products has since gone viral.
“Everything pertaining to black hair care products is locked up,” she said in the video. “It makes absolutely no sense. These are African-American hair care products and all of this shit is locked up.”
This isn't the first time the black community has accused Walmart of locking products geared toward it. According to
Atlanta Black Star, the Virginia-based United Food and Commercial Workers Union created a video calling out Walmart’s discriminatory practice against its African-American shoppers in December.
Walmart has since responded to allegations by saying it's “normal” to combat shoplifters.
