Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network has reportedly ordered 6 episodes of a new original series called Secret Talent Scout, which will “center on a group of talent scouts who go undercover in search of untapped talent across the U.S. In keeping with the net’s “live your best life” theme, the scouts will give the deserving performers with great stories their big break, and then reveal themselves.“

So, it’s a reality TV series; essentially a talent search show with a bit of a twist. Although I’m not really sure what they mean when they say that the talent scouts will give the unsuspecting talents their “big break.” If they find someone who can sing, will they arrange a meeting for them with a producer who’ll record a single with them? If an actor, will they be given a chance to audition for the role of their lives, or even cast in a film or TV series? Questions… questions…

I guess we’ll eventually get answers.
