Remember when Orlando Brown made some strange allegations against Nick Cannon? It would appear that Brown is ready to put that part of his past behind him.
According to The Jasmine Brand, Brown addressed his supposed rift with Nick Cannon in a recent interview with YouTube page No Jumper.
"I mean out of respect for Nick, bro, I'm gonna just leave that alone. We squashed that, you know what I mean," he said. "…I'm looking to be able to push the collectiveness. There's strength in numbers…I'm not trying to mess up how that man eat."
In 2020, Brown accused Cannon of performing oral sex on him, saying in an interview (According to The Jasmine Brand), “Nick, I let you suck my d–k, okay? Fine, I’ll say it. I let Nick suck my d–k and I liked it. Nick, you sucked my d–k, but everybody knows you did it as a female.”
Cannon denied the accusation in an Instagram post, calling Brown's accusation "a cry for help," referencing Brown's then-addiction to drugs.
“When I first saw this I thought it was f—ing hilarious!!!! But then after putting a little cognitive effort and analytical thought into the situation, I figured what a great opportunity for a ‘teachable moment’!” he wrote in part. “First off let me say I am praying for the young brother Orlando even though I don’t know him personally, I have always loved and enjoyed his talent and have been a fan of his past work…But this is another crucial example of when we allow our young artists to be prematurely exposed by this demonic business and left out to fend for themselves. We need better support systems for our youth and take care of our own.”
Brown has since gotten sober and discussed his journey to sobriety in 2020 at a church gathering, saying how he “experimented with crystal meth, with weed” and had internet addiction, among others.
