As we slowly make our way out of summer, we can’t help but reflect on the many adventures it’s brought us this year. From tropical destinations to turning up with friends, it seems as if many folks took advantage of their PTO, and we love that. Black people are the hardest working people on this planet, and we deserve time to bask in relaxation. Self-care doesn’t always look like spa dates and shopping sprees; sometimes, it’s simply getting away for some much-needed restoration.
