All eyes were on the legendary Patti LaBelle on Thursday night at Usher’s Las Vegas residency concert. The incomparable songstress let loose to Ginuwine‘s classic raunchy single, Pony.
TMZ shared footage from multiple fans in the crowd catching Aunt Patti from different angles as he was grooving during the intermission.
LaBelle was seated in the VIP section of the Park MGM that has housed several other stars coming to see Usher put on an amazing show in Vegas. The “If Only You Knew” singer had the crowd going wild as she did her signature “wing” move and flailed her arms around while moving her hips to Timbaland’s beat.
LaBelle’s attempt to sing along with the steamy lyrics seemed to be a hit or a miss, but the other concertgoers had her back and sang loudly as she pointed to them and enjoyed herself. In the viral clip, you can hear multiple fans egging on the singer, saying, “Go Patti.”
As the clips made their way around social media, fans were happy to see the icon enjoying herself but couldn’t help but make jokes about her not knowing the words.
During this year’s BET Awards, LaBelle was part of the network’s tribute to the late Tina Turner. The 79-year-old performer was preparing to belt out Turner’s 1989 hit “The Best” when she told the audience she forgot the words. While ad-libbing early into the song and squinting to see the teleprompter at the back of the theater, LaBelle asked, “What if I can’t see… the words… I don’t know?”

Regardless of her skipping over a couple of lyrics, LaBelle seemed to be having a ball. She posted a “thank you” message to Usher and his team and shared pictures from the show.
