Plies has often taken the liberty of filming his witty observations on pop culture and politics while sitting in his car. On Tuesday, he took a moment to send out a heartfelt message of gratitude to women on International Women’s Day.

Plies showed love to all women around the world.

“…just want to tell all the beautiful women around the country and around the world, Happy International Women’s Day. [I] can’t thank you enough for being you. In my opinion, you’re asked to do the most. I’m intrigued by your ambition. I don’t feel like no one has been through as much as you,” he said in his video while wearing a Minnesota sweatshirt and a navy blue bucket hat with white graphics.

“No one continues to deliver as much as you. The journey wasn’t easy, isn’t easy, never was intended to be easy. But I think the things y’all have overcome, from the beginning of time to see in which y’all are navigating, bringing other people along, it is something as a man, and as an African American man, it’s a playbook I wish more of us would follow,” he continued.

“Definitely taking this time out; I would like to thank you every day, not on this one particular day. But to the ones that have given so much at least for me on my end, it’s not gone unnoticed. So enjoy your day as you should every day. I’m your biggest fan, I love you, I admire you, don’t matter your race, it don’t matter your financial classification, just being a woman on your end is enough for me to send my praise to you. I love you and wish you a wonderful day,” he said.

International Women’s Day started in 1911 and has grown considerably throughout the years. The holiday celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements and contributions of women. The day also serves as a time to appeal to corporations and organizations to expedite women’s equality, especially in areas of fair pay.
