Well… tonight's the big night! We've talked about it enough, so I hope this isn't news to the majority of you. If it is, feel free to search the site for all the past posts on the show; or just visit the productions website HERE for all the details.
A quick recap… adapted from the original Gershwin/Heyward work by Suzan-Lori Parks and Diedre L. Murray, directed by Diane Paulus; Audra McDonald stars as Bess, Norm Lewis is Porgy, and David Alan Grier plays Sporting Life.
Tickets for the production, which officially opens on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre – 226 West 46th Street, NYC – can be purchased online HERE.
Watch a newly-minted preview below; so who's planning on seeing this? It's on my list, but I have yet to see so much (The Mountaintop, Stick Fly, notably); it's mostly an issue of time; I've got too much going on at once. What Shadow & Act needs is a genuined theater critic to take on that particular challenge. Seriously. So if there are any takers, drop me an email and let's chat 🙂
