The 66th annual Tony Awards will take place tonight in a 3-hour ceremony, and will be broadcast starting at 8pm on CBS (live on the East Coast, tape-delayed on the West Coast).
Neil Patrick Harris will host Broadway's biggest night for the third time.
A few items to note: Porgy & Bess picked up 10 nominations, including nods for its 2 stars, Audra McDonald and Norm Lewis; the all-black Streetcar Named Desire received only 1 nom, for Costume Design (nothing for the performances); Condola Rashad picked up a Best Featured Actress nom for Stick Fly (its only nomination); and lastly, Clybourne Park, a play we've covered, and that I saw and reviewed on S&A, received 4 nominations, including one for Best Play (Wendell Pierce is one of its producers).
