The My Brother’s Keeper Initiative launched by President Obama in 2014, was created with the mission to help young men of color succeed and reach their full potential. The program joins together businessmen, athletes, spiritual leaders, and government officials with young boys to mentor them and set them on a path to success.
In the most recent promotional effort to increase the momentum of My Brother’s Keeper, President Obama and point guard for the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry teamed up to launch the mentorship program.

They also instill values of teamwork and having fun.
President Obama and Stephen Curry exhibit what it means to be a true brother’s keeper and as more mentoring relationships begin to form from the new initiative, we can only imagine the ripple effect it will have in men’s lives and communities across the country. Mentoring results in mutual benefits.
