Rapper 50 Cent finally sold his huge 51,000-square-foot Connecticut mansion after more than a decade on the market. But it cost him. According to The Wall Street Journal, the 50+ room estate had an original listing price of $18.5 million in 2007, and TMZ reports that Fiddy sold it to an undisclosed buyer to the tune of $2.9 million — an 84% loss.

The remote Farmington estate reportedly boasts an impressive 21 bedrooms, 25 bathrooms, nine kitchens, indoor and outdoor pools, basketball courts and even a helicopter pad. The rapper, born Curtis James Jackson III,  bought the estate from former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson for $4.1 million in 2003, before allegedly spending between $6 million and $10 million on home renovations.

When Jackson filed for bankruptcy in 2015, it was revealed that the mansion cost close to $70,000 in monthly upkeep. After putting the estate on the market in 2007, Jackson dropped the list price about five times throughout the years, but it wasn't enough to get it sold, until this most recent bid.

Thankfully, all is not lost. Proceeds of the sale will reportedly go to 50's charity, The G-Unity Foundation, an organization founded to help improve the quality of life for low-income communities across the U.S.
