In the aftermath of shelter-in-place guidelines being enacted around the country, a man in Dallas is going viral for how he’s spending his quarantine and chill time.

Elias Aragaw found his key to avoiding cabin fever by staging a fashion show that featured quarantine-inspired attire.

The 31-year-old posted his show to Twitter Monday with the caption, “Quarantine Showcase for my outfits I’ll be rocking at home for lockdown 2020."

The video shows Aragaw modeling a variety of loungewear and chill-at-home looks. He even dons an outfit accessorized with surgical gloves to protect from the Rona and those COVID-19 germs.

“Welcome to the quarantine runway show; look at him look at him ready to spend days in the house with that beautiful traditional Ethiopian robe,” Aragaw says as the video’s narrator. “Opening it up! White T-shirt and shorts, very casual look just in case the AC is blowing. Little spin and a flare and away he goes — yesss!”

Another of his featured styles incorporates the “Netflix and chill snuggie” — a look best for those long days working from home that become long nights binge-watching romantic comedies with bae.

Despite Aragaw’s lightheartedness, he told the New York Post that he’s taking the pandemic quite seriously and hopes that his content will provide a break from the bad news we’ve been hearing lately.

“In the midst of difficult times lies creativity, so while we’re all quarantined, be safe and find your peace and what makes you happy through it all,” Aragaw said. “I create content often so I’m glad this one can help people find some joy and laughter considering the severity of what’s going on.”

As of Wednesday, Dallas County has confirmed 247 positive cases of COVID-19, the most to be confirmed within a Texas county, Fox 4 reports. Dallas’ number of confirmed cases does not include the hundreds of tests that have been taken at its newly opened drive-thru testing sites.

Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins has insisted the governor and neighboring counties toughen their restrictions to slow the spread of the virus.

“Today’s steep increase in cases is an urgent reminder that Governor [Greg] Abbott should heed the pleas of doctors, nurses, and hospitals. We can’t wait any longer. I once again ask all North Texas counties to immediately move to the Dallas “Stay Home Stay Safe” model as some did yesterday. That’s our best chance to #Flattenthecurve,” Jenkins said in a statement.

Jenkins said Sunday he would enforce strict limits in Texas on social gatherings and other assemblies of that nature.

“This order is our best chance to flatten the curve here in Dallas County and save as many lives as possible,” Jenkins told The Dallas Morning News. “It makes me sick that we’re at this point.”

Residents who violate the order will face fines or jail time as cities in the Lone Star State ramp up their coronavirus response procedures.
