Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett-Smith are reuniting for the first time since appearing in the 1996 hit Set it Off! According to The Hollywood Reporter, they are in final negotiations to join Regina Hall in the upcoming film Girl Trip. The film is helmed by popular producer Will Packer, who is coming off of producing the Roots remake, and was also recently announced as half of the duo set to run Being Mary Jane

The movie will chronicle four best friends who go to the Essence Festival in New Orleans, where “friendships are rekindled and wild sides are revealed.”

Black-ish creator Kenya Barris and Barbershop: The Next Cut writer Tracey Oliver will are the film’s writers, and it will be directed by The Best Man Holiday‘s Malcolm D. Lee. James Lopez, who is the head of motion pictures for Will Packer Productions will be the executive producer.

The film is set to be released on July 21, 2017.
