Quincy Brown, the son of Al B. Sure! and the late Kim Porter, has accused a Jet Blue pilot of dragging and grabbing him prior to boarding a plane. According to LoveBScott, the 30-year-old was boarding a flight on Sunday from Los Angeles to Newark, New Jersey, with a member of his team when the incident occurred.

Jet Blue staff refused to let him board the aircraft, saying his carry-on bag would not fit in the upper compartments. The pilot then allegedly got involved and put his hands on the Star actor.

Brown, who’s starred in movies like Brotherly Love and The Holiday Calendar, took to several social media platforms to express his anger at the airline. On Twitter, the singer tagged the airline, noting that he “thought I liked ya’ll.”

Brown then posted a video on Instagram, going into more detail about the alleged incident.

“The pilot put hands on me,” he said in the Instagram post. “Why? Because my bag, which fits in my pocket, damn near, they claimed it didn’t fit.”

He goes on to detail the incident and calls out the pilot who allegedly grabbed and dragged him onto the jet bridge. Brown told his followers that the bag contained personal items, including his jewelry and anxiety medication, that he wanted to keep close while traveling.

In the video, Brown pulled up the pilot’s LinkedIn with a screenshot of the profile, showing his name and picture.

The airline told LoveBScott that they are “aware” of the incident and that they are taking it very “seriously.”
