You'll recall my July piece in which I asked what was next for Quvenzhané Wallis.
That piece inspired a few emails exchanges that taught me a few things about young Ms Wallis' status and what options were available to her; and sothis doesn't come as much of a surprise.
It's been announced that one of the top talent agencies in the country, ICM Partners, has signed Quvenzhane Wallis.
As I noted in my July profile, the accolades have been virtually non-stop since the film she stars in, Benh Zeitlin's Beasts Of The Southern Wild, bowed at the Sundance Film Festival in January, this year.
It was soon after that piece that we learned that she had been cast in Steve McQueen's Twelve Years A Slave.
But before that film is released next year, we might see her in Frances Bodomo's short film titled Boneshaker.
We featured Boneshaker in April.
Boneshaker centers on "a Ghanaian family, lost in America, [that] travels to a Louisiana church to cure their violent daughter."
With this new signing with ICM, let's see where she goes next…
