After a damning 2017 investigative report from BuzzFeed unleashed new allegations about R. Kelly, the singer known for his smooth hits has reentered the national spotlight as an alleged sexual predator.

A new report from the Daily Mail claims that the Georgia Mansion, where Kelly reportedly held a harem of women, is now facing eviction.

Notices filed Tuesday, Feb. 13 show that Kelly is behind by two months rent which is estimated at about $11,542.45. By the looks of it, the large north Georgia home appears to be abandoned indicating that Kelly may have left the premises several months ago. There were reports last year that the home was burglarized.

According to the BuzzFeed News report, women from Kelly's inner circle —Cheryl Mack, Kitti Jones and Asante McGee — claimed that six women recruited by Kelly to live in his rented properties and be sex objects that could be controlled day and night. They said that he was in control of all aspects of their lives "from what they eat, how they dress, when they bathe, when they sleep and how they engage in sexual encounters that he records." Family members of the alleged victims claimed that the 51-year-old brainwashed them into submission with punishments if they failed to please.

The allegations have sparked renewed interest from critics to disrupt concerts and bring him to justice sparking the #MuteRKelly movement that challenges why fans have continued to support him this far.

In JanuaryBlack Women's Blueprint organized a "March for Black Women," against Kelly outside of his concert held at FREQ and Highline Theaters in New York City.

While there have not been criminal charges brought against him, his public support is steadily on the decline.
