Keep Red Rushing’s wife’s name out your mouth!

The sports manager and entrepreneur was not happy after his soon-to-be wife Toya Johnson’s ex-husband, Memphitz, shared a picture of the former couple during happy times — just weeks before her nuptials to Rushing, Bossip reports.

Memphitz and Johnson had a turbulent love affair back in the early 2010s, tying the knot in 2011. The cracks in their relationship’s foundation revealed themselves when the former couple appeared on VH1’s Marriage Boot Camp, and unfortunately the radical therapy couldn’t save the couple. They divorced in 2015.

As Johnson prepares to say “I do” to Rushing, Memphitz was clearly in his feelings; he took to social media to express them. According to The Shade Room, he shared a few pictures of him and the 38-year-old during happier times, including a snap of them kissing on the red carpet.

“Farewell my love. Goodbye & congrats,” he wrote, along with the picture on Instagram Stories.

Rushing was not having it. He took to his Instagram to not-so-subtlety address the issue. He posted a clip of Will Smith’s unforgettable Oscar moment when he angrily told Chris Rock to keep his “wife’s name out your f**king mouth.” And he made his message clear in the captions.

“I was raised in GA, one thing my good brother @troubleman31 always taught us,” he wrote. “’DISRESPECT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED..PERIOD!!!’ AND IM STANDING ON THAT SH*T 110 PERCENT.”

Viewers seemed to support his response in the comments.

“As u should,” one user wrote.

“ALL FACTS,” added another.

“You said Enough. We stand witcha my guy,” another spectator wrote.

Johnson’s daughter, Reginae, supports her future step father’s message too.

“Tryna tell yaaa,” she wrote assuredly.

Rushing and Johnson appear to be focused on their upcoming wedding and unbothered by Memphitz’s declaration. The love birds created a hashtag for their big day (#rushingdowntheaisle) and have used it on more than one occasion across social media platforms.
