Rihanna and A$AP Rocky know how to do it right when celebrating birthdays.
According to HipHopDX, the couple rang in the rapper’s 35th birthday on Friday in New York City. A clip of the night shows the couple dancing with friends and even challenging each other to a little friendly competition on the dance floor.
The “Praise the Lord” MC showed off his moves to Waka Flocka Flame’s “Round of Applause” surrounded by what looked like dollar bills. The New York City native then pointed to the mother-of-two, prompting her to go to the center of the dance floor via twerking as partygoers roared with glee.
The good times continued as the DJ switched to Rae Sremurrd’s “Throw Sum Mo.”

It’s been a good few months for the couple, who welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Riot Rose Mayers, in August. RiRi famously announced her second pregnancy while performing at the Super Bowl halftime show in February, flashing her baby bump in a red jumpsuit.
Rihanna and her beau gave fans a look into their growing family in September, sharing several effortlessly cool snaps of their family of four.
“Oh, my God, it’s legendary,” the “Lift Me Up” singer said of motherhood while talking to British Vogue earlier this year. “It’s everything. You really don’t remember life before, that’s the craziest thing ever.”
She explained in more detail how perspectives shift when you have children.
“You literally try to remember it — and there are photos of my life before — but the feeling, the desires, the things that you enjoy, everything, you just don’t identify with it because you don’t even allow yourself mentally to get that far, because… because it doesn’t matter,” she said.
