It’s surreal that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s firstborn, RZA Athelston Mayers, has already been here for a year; it feels like they announced their first pregnancy together yesterday!

Now, the iconic couple is on the verge of welcoming their second baby, but before that happens, they prioritized time for baby RZA.

On Saturday, they celebrated the first birthday of their son, RZA. In hyper-opulent fashion, RiRi and Flacko set the bar high for the party, showering the baby with a money cake and a bevy of other special guests before the arrival of his sibling.

To kick things off, RZA’s father, A$AP Rocky, shared a soothing, heartfelt message to honor his firstborn on Instagram:

“‘WU TANG IZ DA CHUREN.’ HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY TO MY 1ST BORN,” Rocky captioned his photo medley, which includes a collection of photos and videos of him posing with his baby boy. Rihanna also makes various appearances, spreading love and warm embraces to her partner and son.

Later in the evening, friends of the uber-talented couple joined the party and watched little RZA blow out his candles. In relatively expected fashion, the 1-year-old had a huge smile, though he eventually got sleepy further into the event. Then, according to some clips moving across the web, he napped in his father’s arms.
