Rihanna isn't letting her pregnancy prevent her from showing charity and compassion toward veterans experiencing homelessness at the West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs grounds. On Sunday, she teamed up with Mr. Checkpoint app founder and social justice activist Sennett Devermont to donate clothes and food, People reports.

Devermont thanked the Bajan songstress for lending her support, time and energy to the cause that he further highlighted in his Instagram post.

One of the veterans shared that he was excited to meet Rihanna.

"My family is not going to believe what happened to me today. I met Rihanna! The greatest singer on earth. She donated clothes, food and she cares about the veterans. The United States Army veterans. U.S. Marine veterans. Air Force veterans. She cares about all the veterans. She cares about us, and she showed us. And she's going to take care of business," the veteran said in a video posted to Devermont's page.

Rihanna has also lent her support during the pandemic, donating $5 million to organizations including Direct Relief, Partners in Health, and Feeding America through her Clara Lionel Foundation to aid disadvantaged groups.
