Rihanna has the internet buzzing after dropping a hint about her latest project during an encounter with paparazzi.

"Any new music?" the paparazzi asked the singer as she was coming out of her car and walking with her bodyguard.

The 33-year-old then dropped three words that sparked some rumors.

"Soon, soon, soon," she said.

A few of Rihanna's fans have their hopes up after the singer dropped the hint.

However, there are many more people who refuse to believe the "Diamonds" singer.

According to The Source, Rihanna dropped another hint in September when she showed up at an event to promote her latest Savage X Fenty show. The singer said fans can expect new sounds from her. Speaking with the Associated Press during the event, Rihanna added that music is about experimenting.

“You’re not gonna expect what you hear,” Rihanna said. “Just put that in your mind. Whatever you know of Rihanna is not gonna be what you hear. I’m really experimenting and music is, like, it’s like fashion. You should be able to play. I should be able to wear whatever I want and I treat music the same way.”

According to NME, fans have been eagerly anticipating a follow-up to Rihanna's most recent album, 2016's Anti. In the past six years, the Barbados native has teased her fans, saying she is working on something "completely different."
