Since Roddy’s last studio album, Live Life Fast, he has been working on new music this month with DJ Khaled. On Thursday, Roddy Ricch and Lil Uzi Vert were engaged in a little Instagram dispute over a pair of boots following a post-DJ Khaled made on his page.

Khaled teased a new single featuring 21 Savage, Lil Durk and Roddy Ricch with a picture showing the four artists standing alongside each other on the set of their new music video.
“Everyone get some rest #AUG26 is near ! #GODDID #AUG26 ! @wethebestmusic Bless up @21savage @roddyricch@lildurk
THIS GOD DID ! 🔥🆙🤯,” DJ Khaled’s caption reads.
Following the post, Lil Uzi Vert shared a cropped photo of Roddy’s boots on their Instagram story.
“Who is this I only saw the boots I hope this a normal person,” Uzi wrote.
Uzi said they weren’t aware that the shoes belonged to Roddy Ricch, but they made sure to publicly thumbs-down the kicks.
Roddy Ricch seemingly responded to Uzi’s comments on his Instagram story while apparently dragging City Girls rapper JT into the argument.

He also shared a video of his new song “Marni,” which includes the lyrics, “Why you mad I fu**ed your bitch?”
The clip featured a friend of Roddy’s dancing and mouthing the lyrics on a boat with a caption aimed at Uzi and thier relationship with JT.
“U get it now?” Roddy captioned the video while tagging Uzi. Both posts have since been deleted, but not before screenshots were captured by many followers and shared on Twitter.
Twitter users wasted no time sharing reactions to the mini beef.

Uzi hasn’t necessarily issued a response, but based on Roddy Rich’s low-blows, we can all suspect this isn’t over yet.
