Russell Wilson has created quite a buzz on social media after recently talking about the smooth move he pulled during his first encounter with Ciara. Wilson, who shared his story in an interview with Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud Radio show, said it was an old wallet that helped me steal the heart of the singer.

“First of all, I had this wallet, and it was broke down; it was kinda tore up. I had it for a while, you know?” the Denver Broncos quarterback said.  “First day we met—and we had been talking for two-and-a-half hours, hanging out—she saw the wallet sitting on the table. She said, ‘What the hell is that? You’re losing with that.’”

Wilson, however, took the slander personally and came back with a game-changing response.

“I said, ‘That wallet shows consistency. That’s what you gonna get from me. Somebody that’s gonna be consistent for you every day,” he said.

After learning of the line, Twitter was left impressed.

Some Twitter folks, however, came to spoil the fun.

But Wilson, of course, has plenty of defenders.

Good luck to all the people who are digging out their old wallets as we speak.
