RZA’s certainly keeping himself busy, both in front of and behind the camera… the latest from Variety:

Quentin Tarantino is reaching out to a familiar face for a part in DJANGO UNCHAINED, tapping his KILL BILL composer RZA for a supporting role in the spaghetti Western… RZA will play Thaddeus, a violent slave working on a Mississippi plantation.

It’s been awhile since I read the script for the film and don’t immediately recall a “violent slave” named “Thaddeus,” why he’s described as “violent,” or how considerable the part is.

Regardless, whether or not he was in the version of script I read, or a new character Tarantino has since written in, RZA’s going to play him.

I hope we’ll be seeing a trailer for his The Man With The Iron Fists soon (his directorial debut, shepherded by Tarantino by the way; as well as Eli Roth)! Been a minute since that wrapped.
