In yesterday's announcement that Frank Grillo had been tapped to play the villain – Crossbones – in Marvel and Disney's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, was this aside which we missed:

Chris Evans returns as the star-spangled hero in "Captain America: Winter Soldier," along with Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes (who becomes assassin the Winter Soldier), Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders and Scarlett Johansson.

So obviously Samuel L. Jackson and some of his S.H.I.E.L.D agents will make an appearance in Winter Soldier.

And let's not forget that Anthony Mackie will play The Falcon.

Anthony Russo and Joe Russo are helming the project from a script by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

It's expected to be released un 2014.
