Actor Samuel L. Jackson, known for his iconic on-screen profanity, has offered to teach fans how to curse in multiple languages to encourage them to register to vote.

In a tweet on Monday, Jackson promised to teach profanity-themed classes if at least 2,500 of his followers registered to vote ahead of the 2020 election. 

“If 2500 of you click a voting action below to make sure you’re #GoodToVote, I will teach you to swear in 15 different languages," he tweeted. 

Earlier in the day, he tweeted about the importance of registering to vote and teased the unique language “tutorial.”

“Nov. 3rd Will be here before you know it! Go to Headcount.org to check your voter registration status or register to vote! Go now and you may get a very special ‘tutorial’ from me! Every vote Counts!”

The 71-year-old actor is teaming up with HeadCount, a non-partisan organization that uses the influence of the music industry to promote participation in elections. Its mission is to reach young people through music events like live shows, concerts and online performances.

According to HeadCount’s website, the organization has signed up over 700,000 voters through their collaboration with artists like Beyoncé and Ariana Grande at major music events.

On Friday, Jackson guest hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live and left a rousing monologue challenging viewers to reflect on the actions of President Donald Trump since he took office.

Before his monologue, the Pulp Fiction actor gave a disclaimer that he was going to get real regarding his view of the president on the anniversary of 9/11.

“I mean, we found out he called U.S. soldiers ‘losers’ and ‘suckers,’ then he intentionally played down the coronavirus even though he knew how bad it was,” the 71-year-old said. “He encouraged his supporters to vote twice, which is a felony, and said protesters are using soup cans as weapons, and that was just this past week.”

“Who can still be voting for this guy after all the stuff that has gone down on his watch?” the Hateful Eight star added.

To conclude his monologue, Jackson condemned the president as “dangerous for our country,” and made light of the terrible “side-effects,” like nepotism and sexism, associated with voting for Trump in a comedy skit.
