This Wednesday, September 5th, at Yale University's Whitney Humanities Center Auditorium, our own Tambay Obenson will join Terri Francis (Associate Professor of Film and African American Studies at Yale University), producer Lisa Cortés (Precious, Shadowboxer, The Woodsman, and Yale alum, class of '82), in a post-screening conversation about Dee Rees' Pariah (which will be shown first at 7pm), *black cinema* (Hollywood and indie), and maybe more.

The event, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by: African American Studies, Association of Yale Alumni, Film Studies Program, Films at the Whitney supported by The Barbakow Fund for Innovative Film Programs at Yale, LGBT Studies, and the Poynter Fellowship in Journalism.

The Yale Whitney Humanities Center Auditorium is located at 53 Wall Street.
