Newly released poster for the 4th installment in the Mission: Impossible franchise, titled Ghost Protocol, which sees the return of regulars Tom Cruise and Ving Rhames (though he isn’t in the poster), as well as the addition of newcomers Paula Patton, Jeremy Renner, and others, with Renner’s role here being Cruise’s heir apparent, as this might be his last go-round with the franchise.

Also, Brad Bird directed this one, his first live-action film, after directing animated critically-acclaimed crowd-pleasers like The Incredibles and Ratatouille.

The film opens December 21.
