Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. appears to be following in the steps of her Grand Slam-winning mother, Serena Williams.
In an Instagram video clip posted to Olympia's page on Monday, the young athlete flexes a wicked two-hand backhand, very reminiscent of her mother.
"Practice makes progress," the video was captioned.
Watching the clip of the 4-year-old practicing stirred her aunt, tennis great Venus Williams, to recall the drills her mother Oracene Price and her father Richard Williams taught them.
"It's Oracene all over again!" Venus wrote under the video.
An older fan commented under the post, saying she was proud of her age but was upset she likely wouldn't bee around to see Olympia hit the courts professionally.
"She will be fantastic," they wrote.
Another person chimed in, writing, "My goodness look at her form already! Great job Mrs. Williams!"
"Oh snap little momma has come a long way quick! If she yells COME ON! I'm going to loose [sic] my sh," someone commented, referring to Serena's go-to phrase that she shouts during her matches.
While the tennis champion appears to enjoy imparting her skills to her daughter, she mentioned that Olympia has other interests outside of the sport.
"Honestly, she likes playing piano," she said on Jimmy Kimmel Live! "When she was in my belly, I played a lot of piano music."
Serena shared a video on her Instagram page, showing Olympia teaching her how to play the instrument.
However, Serena and her husband Alexis Ohanian decided to enroll Olympia into tennis lessons with an instructor during the ongoing pandemic.
"We started because it's a socially safe sport, and when COVID happened, it was like, we're just in the house with a 3-year-old, what do we do?" Serena told People in April. "There was only one answer, to my dismay."
