Most of us are going a little stir crazy after one of the first full weeks of quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Like the rest of us, tennis superstar Serena Williams is struggling with the monotony as well. The legendary athlete hopped on social media and spoke about how difficult it has been, all while cycling through a few different outfits.

She spoke at length about how the virus has affected her playing schedule and her life over the past few weeks.

"I'm just on edge any time anyone sneezes around me or coughs I get crazy. And I don't hang out with anyone. So when I say anyone I mean my daughter," Williams shared.

Williams also said she initially thought she would not be affected by the pandemic, but then the Indian Wells tennis tournament in California was canceled and other events began to be postponed.

"That one cancellation led to another, and led to another, and then led to all this anxiety I've been feeling. Now I've been social distancing for actually a really long time, for two weeks now. Every little thing makes me really crazy. Instead of being relaxed, I'm really under a ton of stress. I never expected to be relaxed, but it is what is, and we'll get through this. We have to," she said in the video.

She also went on to say how irritable she's become.

"[Olympia] coughed, and I got angry. I gave her a side-eye. I gave her that 'angry Serena,' and then I got sad. I was like, 'Is she OK? Is there something wrong with my daughter? Like, is there anything I can do?"' she added.

Millions of people have spent the last week sharing their thoughts about being quarantined online, with thousands noting how difficult it is in terms of mental health.

Before the pandemic, Williams was on her way to another successful season, winning her first tournament since becoming a mother in January.

The tennis great defeated Jessica Pegula 6-3, 6-4 in the ASB Classic final on January 12, her first title since winning the Australia Open in January 2017.

The Associated Press recently named Williams the female athlete of the decade, and she has a dozen Grand Slam singles titles to her name at this point. She has managed to win more Grand Slam titles than any other tennis player in the modern era and even had the "Serena Slam" named after her following her unparalleled accomplishments.

Its unclear when tennis tournaments will resume, but in the meantime the tennis superstar has spent a lot more time at home with her daughter Olympia.

“You have to be your biggest cheerleader, especially if you’re feeling you’re not doing everything right — or even if you are doing everything right but things aren’t working out for you,” she told CNN earlier this year.
