Tennis legend Serena Williams has reached another career milestone.

On Tuesday, Williams clinched a triumphant win at Arthur Ashe Stadium against Qiang Wang, 6-1, 6-0, to cruise into the U.S. Open semifinals reports People.

It took the 23-time Grand Slam champion just 44 minutes to secure her 100th U.S. Open singles match win.

“It’s really unbelievable…because when I first started here I think I was 16…I never thought that I would get to a hundred. It didn’t even cross my mind,” Williams said in a postgame interview.

“I love what I do… it’s so special. I never want to let it go,” the 37-year-old continued while cheerfully addressing fans.

Among her supporters in the crowd was Grammy-winning rapper, Queen Latifah, who praised the icon on social media.

Williams, who Forbes ranked as the first athlete on the World's Richest Self-Made Women list in June, also opened up to ESPN after her recent victory.

“It feels good…It feels like, ‘OK, this is what I’ve been training for. This is how hard I’ve been working.’ It feels like, you know, hard work pays off when that happens,” Williams said.

Williams, currently the last American standing in the Open, is vying for her sixth win at the annual tennis tournament. On Thursday, she'll compete in the semifinals against Ukranian Elina Svitolina. If the Compton native wins, she'll tie Margaret Smith Court for the most grand slam wins in history.
