Shannon Sharpe has some advice for Scotty Pippen Jr., the Los Angeles Lakers guard who suddenly became teammates with a player who has been linked to him in a bizarre story of family affair. Sharpe advised Scotty to demand for a trade if he wants to avoid any awkward interaction with Malik Beasley, who was just traded to the Lakers.

Beasley, 26, made headlines in 2020 when he allegedly cheated on his wife to engage in a relationship with Larsa Pippen, Scotty’s 48-year-old mother, The Jasmine Brand reported.

“If I’m Scotty Pippen Jr., I want a trade,” Sharpe said on his Undisputed show with Skip Bayless. “Malik Beasley coming to my team, I gotta go. I will fight it.”

Bayless first asked for clarification, but then remembered the story behind the two hoopers. Sharpe continued to remind Pippen that he has no business being on the court with Beasley.

“Off the court, on the court, whatever the court is, we’ll go to the court, but I got to go,” he said. “I want a divorce.”

Bayless, the often critical sports pundit, praised Scotty’s basketball talent, saying he deserves more playing time. But Sharpe remained focused on the drama brewing in Los Angeles.

“I just can’t play for the Lakers anymore,” he said, putting himself in Scotty’s position. “I want out.”

While Bayless suggested that the pair may have a chance to workout the issue, Sharpe adamantly denied the possibility, saying he may not even play one minute with him.

According to ClutchPoints, Larsa is now dating Marcus Jordan, the son of Michael Jordan. Larsa’s ex-husband, Scotty Pippen, won six championships with Jordan.
