Shark Tank star Barbara Corcoran made a body-shaming joke at the expense of Whoopi Goldberg during an appearance on Thursday's episode of The View.

According to Insider, the incident occurred during a conversation about Good American, a U.S. denim clothing brand. Its owner, Emma Grede, will be the first Black woman "shark" to be featured on Shark Tank as a guest panelist. Ahead of the new episode, Goldberg made mention that she hadn't tried the jeans yet, but had some questions before giving it a shot.

“Well, I have to try them. Will they fit this COVID [butt]?” she asked before guest host Ana Navarro-Cárdenas reassured they would.

After the women cracked a few jokes, Corcoran attempted to join in the fun in poor taste.

“And when you get finished with those jeans and decide you don’t like them, give them to me, I’m going to make two pairs," she said.

Navarro-Cárdenas hit Corcoran with a clever clap back, coming to Goldberg's defense on the show.

"Let me just tell you something: Sara Haines and Jill Biden already wore this dress on TV," Navarro-Cárdenas said, implying that the dress Corcoran was wearing had already been worn by the aforementioned stars.

Corcoran later backtracked her words, issuing an apology to The View host and anyone else she may have offended with her comment, per Yahoo News.

“I just came back from The View and saw my old friend Whoopi,” the Shark Tank star said. “As you well know, she has a phenomenal sense of humor and I’ve known her for years.”

“I made a joke at Whoopi’s expense which I now realize wasn’t funny,” Corcoran highlighted. “For anyone who I may have offended, unintentionally, I just wanted to say I really am very sorry.”

The interaction, however, appears to be water under the bridge. Goldberg responded to Corcoran's apology video, brushing off the comment as a joke between friends.

“Barbara we have been friends forever and i know your humor, i knew you were kidding," she tweeted.

The moment hasn't exactly blown over for fans, though.

"Most excited to see @ananavarro push back after your rude remark to @WhoopiGoldberg on [The View]. Got news for you @BarbaraCorcoran ~ that was not a funny thing to say. It was mean and nasty. Skinny does not = superiority. Everyone should be the friend @ananavarro is to Whoopi," a fan tweeted of the incident.
