A shooting at DaBaby’s home in Troutman, North Carolina has left one victim with non-life-threatening injuries.

On Wednesday, the Troutman Police Department arrived at DaBaby’s $2.3 million home at approximately 7:45 p.m., where “one subject suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound” was found.

The victim was shot on the property’s football field and taken to a local medical center for minor injuries. DaBaby was reportedly at the residence at the time of the shooting, according to authorities.

“The subject was transported by Iredell County EMS to a medical facility for treatment,” Troutman police shared in a Facebook post. “Due to the ongoing and continuing nature of this investigation, no information as to the names of those involved or the circumstances can be released at this time. This is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the community at large.”

The shooter and the victim have not been named.

DaBaby purchased his 8.94 acre home in December 2019. The five bedrooms and 8.5-bathroom Tuscan-style home hold a decked-out basketball court, theater room, wine cellar, swimming pool, and a multi-level putting green.

Neighbors told Rolling Stone they didn’t hear any of the commotions but said DaBaby usually has security at home and has several “no trespassing” signs posted around the property, including one that reads “we have guns and shovels.”

In 2019, the Charlotte rapper recalled a time six armed men broke into his apartment where he claimed to have shot one of the men during an interview with VladTV.

“I turned the corner on some James Bond shit and see, like, five, six niggas,” DaBaby said. “Some of them over there going through [my belongings]. The closest one to me, he coming toward me, and I’m turning the corner, and I pop his ass.”
