Four-time Olympic Gold winner Simone Biles showed the world what Black girl magic was about with another incredible performance.
On a historic weekend, Biles captured her seventh all-around U.S. Gymnastics Championships title this past Sunday with an overall score of 119.950. The feat gives her the most wins at the event by any woman in American history.
The previous record was held by Clara Schroth Lomady who competed in the 1940s and 1950s. Biles is now tied with Alfred Jochim — who competed between 1925 and 1930 and in 1933 — for the most wins by any American. Since arriving on the scene in 2013, Biles has won every event she’s participated in except for one.
In other words, she comes to slay.
Every time she’s competed, she’s won.

Biles' teammates Jordan Chiles and Sunisa Lee came in third and as runner-up respectively.
For her floor routine, Biles used a song from Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift and she amazed all in attendance and those watching from home with a never-been-done-before move dubbed “The Biles.”

"I feel like I did try to enjoy it because it could be one of my last championships that I'll attend," Biles said. "But it's also the road to Tokyo, and after this we have trials, so we just have to really embrace the moment."
After conquering the U.S. Championships in stunning fashion, Biles and her teammates will set their sights on the Olympic Trials which take place later this month.

"I feel like every single championship stands out for a different reason, but this one stands out specifically because it's the road to Tokyo," the 24-year-old said. "We came out here, and we did what we were supposed to."
The games begin on July 23 in Tokyo after being rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Without question, Biles is a shoe-in to make the team as one of the most decorated Olympic performers of all time. With her participation in the 2021 games, she will have the opportunity to defend her title as the all-around Gold medalist that she won convincingly at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro.
After returning to competition a couple of weeks ago for the first time since 2019, Biles proved why she’s regarded as one of the greatest gymnasts of all time.
It’s expected Biles will continue her reign of dominance and will add a few more gold medals to her collection when she hits that mat and the beams in Tokyo this summer.
