The internet is reacting to Smokey Robinson wildin’ because of the name of his new album, Gasms. Why? Because of “gasms,” not to mention its song titles.
Twitter had a field day when music fans saw the nearly 82-year-old’s song titles, which include “How You Make Me Feel,” “I Wanna Know Your Body,” “Roll Around” and the two kickers, “You Fill Me Up” and “I Fit in There.”
Producer Brandon Williams ignited a firestorm of reactions with his tweet telling folks to look at the tracklist for Gasms.

Meanwhile, while everyone is getting over Robinson’s overtly sexual song names, people are still reeling that Robinson admitted he had an affair with Diana Ross back in the day.
Blavity covered that in an interview with Vlad TV, Robinson talked about being friends with Aretha Franklin and Diana Ross growing up in Detroit. During their careers, their friendship turned into something more.
“It lasted probably longer than it should because I was married at the time,” he said during the interview. “This happened later, after I got married, after I got them signed up at Motown. That’s when it started.”
Gasms, Robinson’s first album of new material in nearly 14 years, is slated for release on April 28. Listen to its first single, “If We Don’t Have Each Other,” below.
Robinson told Rolling Stone in a statement, “I chose this song as the first single of my new album because it’s different musically and has a slide dance feeling to it … which is different from what I’ve ever done before.” He added, “It also has a current rhythm of today that I love, and I hope everyone else does too.”
