Snoop Dogg saved the day at WrestleMania 39 by jumping in the ring after a professional wrestler experienced an injury.

Over the weekend, the California native co-hosted World Wrestling Entertainment’s annual WrestleMania event alongside respected wrestler Mike “The Miz” Mizanin. The two-day competition took place at SoFi Stadium on Saturday and Sunday. During the second night, the rapper instigated an unexpected match between The Miz and Shane McMahon, the son of Vince McMahon, the majority owner and executive chairman of WWE. Shane hadn’t been in the ring in over a year, according to ABC News.

During the match, McMahon tore his quad when trying to perform a move against The Miz. After the medical staff took McMahon out of the ring, Snoop Dogg hopped in to finish the match for the injured 53-year-old. After throwing two punches that took his opponent  to the ground, he performed some slow prepping moves before solidifying his win using The Rock‘s iconic wrestling move, “The People’s Elbow.”

It shouldn’t be a surprise that the West Coast legend didn’t hesitate to jump in, as it’s not a secret the music artist is a big WWE fan. As a result of his swift action, he gained respect from fans who attended and other professional wrestlers like Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

“My hat’s off to Snoop, just picking it up and like, ‘Oh man, he’s hurt? That’s alright, I’ll fix that.’ Just a natural born entertainer,” Levesque told ABC News. “I’ve known Snoop for years in this environment and what kind of a fan he is, but tonight he put himself on a different playing field and respect factor for me. I know a lot of guys that have been in business a long time; if that happened, they’d go, ‘What do we do?’ It was amazing.”
