Cue the wedding bells! Sofia Richie has said “I do” to her British fiance, Elliot Grainge, in an elegant ceremony in southern France. The “royal wedding,” as dubbed across social media, was an extravaganza that spanned four days.
The 24-year-old model, social media personality and designer is the youngest daughter of 73-year-old music legend Lionel Richie. Grainge, 29, is the founder and CEO of L.A.-based independent record label 10k Projects, which manages the likes of artists such as Ice Spice, Internet Money, Natalie Jane and Between Friends. He is also the son of Sir Lucian Grainge, CEO and chairman of Universal Music Group.

In photos obtained by Page Six, Richie was walked down the aisle by her father, while Grainge’s parents, Sir Lucian Grainge and Lady Caroline Grainge, escorted him. Then, serenaded by Stephen Sanchez singing “Until I Found You,” the couple exchanged vows Saturday evening at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes. The newlyweds rented out the entire five-star ultra-exclusive hotel for the event, shelling out about $1.5 million.
The days-long affair had no shortage of A-list guests. The two music industry families tied the knot in front of Richie’s family — four-time Grammy-winner Lionel Richie and Diane Alexander, sister and television personality Nicole Richie and her husband, Good Charlotte lead singer Joel Madden. Additional celebrity invites included friends Paris Hilton and husband Carter Reum, Cameron Diaz and her husband Benji Madden, Good Charlotte’s guitarist and twin brother to Joel Madden.

European royal cousins Olympia of Greece and Talita von Furstenberg were present for the celebration. As for the names you might recognize from social media? A source told Entertainment Tonight leading up to the nuptials, “Sofia and Elliot are so excited for their wedding celebrations. They are so in love, and their families and friends can’t wait to be part of this. Everyone has been trickling into France ahead of the big day, and those who have been there have been having the best time.”
In April 2022, the influencer announced the couple’s engagement in two photos she shared of the romantic moment.

Ahead of the special day, Richie revealed she converted to Judaism on her IG Stories.
“What a magical day,” she wrote. “I want to thank cantor Nathan Lam for helping me along this journey of converting to Judaism. It has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. Today was that day!!!”

The couple celebrated their pre-wedding with a dinner at Mamo Michelangelo Restaurant in Antibes. Richie chose a “something blue” ensemble of a turtleneck gown, coined the Leibel Dress in color Peri, by Khaite. Richie finished the look with Manolo rose gold flats, silver hoops and a printed clutch by Olympia Le-Tan.

The bride turned to Chanel for the big day and the pre-and post-nuptial celebrations.
For the rehearsal dinner, which took place at a private estate Friday night, the couple set the dress code as “fun and colorful” cocktail attire. According to Page Six, Richie wore a custom beaded dress inspired by Chanel’s 1997 couture collection.

Sister Nicole Richie created the pair of dainty earrings Sofia Richie donned for her rehearsal dinner. The 41-year-old fashion designer wrote via her Instagram Story on Monday, “Making these earrings for my sister is a moment I will never forget.”
Vogue reported Richie’s wedding dress was “a unique bridal silhouette with a criss-cross neckline inspired by a look from Chanel’s fall 2023 collection.” As the bride’s “something blue,” Richie had the couple’s initials “S&E” and their wedding date sewn on the inside of the gown.

The fashion magazine posted a video showing Richie trying on her three custom Chanel dresses as she gushed about her fiance ahead of her whirlwind wedding weekend.
“What I look forward to the most about my wedding day is honestly just being present with my husband,” Sofia noted at the fitting. “I am so excited to be married just because I’m marrying Elliot. I know that sounds so cheesy…and I’m not gonna cry. He’s like the man of my dreams.”
For the reception, Richie changed into a short, white dress featuring a camellia flower on the front. According to People magazine, guests dined poolside following the ceremony, where a jazz trio included piano, bass and drums. The service was held nearly a 200-yard walk from the hotel to the canopy awning. E! News reported the bride danced to Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)” at the after-party.
In a series of videos compiled into a TikTok shared to her account Monday afternoon, Richie shared joyous BTS footage of the day’s events, gaining nearly 870,000 views in the first two hours of its posting.

Her sister, Nicole Richie, introduced her father to a piano by saying, “Lionel…effing Richie.” Another clip showed the couple’s first dance to Lionel Richie’s 1983 hit, “Stuck on You.” Then, her father-daughter dance featured the 1973 song “My Girl” by The Temptations, which the duo belted out along to. Next, there was a quick wardrobe change, and then Richie was seen dancing on stage as Good Charlotte performed.
The newlyweds wrapped up the night with a spectacular fireworks display illuminating the Côte d’Azur sky. In a matter of days, the wedding has made Richie a bonafide fashion “it” girl, no longer merely known as Nicole Richie’s little sister (or Scott Disick’s ex).
