Solange made time to read someone who suggested her son shouldn’t know French! On Wednesday, she posted a video on her Instagram of her son, Julez, giving a speech in French at his fifth grade graduation.
Someone commented on her Instagram, asking why he learned to speak French as opposed to to African history. Looks like they didn’t pay attention during history class. Despite colonization, the French language and culture is deeply ingrained in the culture and roots of many African countries, as well as the Creole culture in the United States.
