On Tuesday, July 3, Tina Turner’s son Craig Raymond Turner committed suicide at age 59. 

According to Page Six, Craig Turner, who worked as a realtor, shot himself at his house in Studio City, Calif. around 12:38 p.m. Upon arrival, authorities pronounced Raymond dead at the scene, TMZ reports. 

Turner gave birth to Craig when she was 18-years-old, and he was adopted by her former husband, Ike Turner. His father, Raymond Hill, was a saxophone player for Ike’s band, King of Rhythm. 

Turner is currently in Switzerland for Haute Couture Fashion Week and has yet to comment.
