A South Carolina man went viral after he hilariously sang a song from The Lion King with a furry friend.

Travis Kinley was overcome with the urge to sing “Circle of Life” on June 25, so he walked out to a field to belt it out in nature. Thankfully, he had Nathan the Donkey to be the Kelly to his Beyoncé. An unnamed and silent horse had a front-row seat to the show.

When Kinley shouted the opening chant of the song, Nathan started braying along. Yung Nate was on beat, too.

Kinley posted the video on his Facebook page, and it went viral. It has been viewed more than 2.7 million times.

He was just as shocked as the rest of us when the three-year-old animal started singing along.

"So, I got in the pasture, I gather all horses…I start singing and Nathan starts to bray behind me, and I'm kind of blown away because we never do this together; we never sing together," Kinley told WLTX. "He keeps going, so I keep going, and all of a sudden I just kind of break down laughing at the end."

Kinley became Nathan’s owner after his previous family couldn’t handle the spunky donkey.

"I got him from about the North Carolina, South Carolina line," he said. "He was causing some trouble at someone else's house and I just picked him up for $100 bucks, he seemed alright with me."

Their relationship grew from there and now they’re the best of friends.

"You can always tell he's a thinking animal," Kinley said. "He's just playful, that's just in his nature."

Kinley was good and all, but someone needs to get Nathan a record deal.
