So you still haven't seen Wendell B. Harris' Chameleon Street, despite all the yapping we've done about it on this blog over the last 3 years? No? Why not? It's on DVD. It should also be on iTunes.

Oh, I see… you're one of those purists, and you refuse to see it if it's not in a theatrical setting, on a nice large screen, and won't see it in any other format? Well, alright. I've got some great news for you then… if you live in LONDON anyway. I know… there always has to be a catch!

Brit film critic Ashley Clark is presenting a special screening of Chameleon Street at the BFI Southbank in London, on February 16.

But wait, that's not all… after the screening, there will be a Q&A (via Skype) with Wendell. As someone who's interviewed him in the past, I can tell you that he gives a great interview. Always very forthcoming, chatty, witty, and insightful.

So if you're in London, and you haven't seen the film, or, even if you have, but would like to see again (especially on the big screen), get your arses over to the BFI on February 16, and see this largely ignored gem (the first black feature film to win the Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize).
