"Open Mike Chicago" is aimed at creating a safe space for teens in Chicago. The free event encourages music and expression. And hey, a few celebrity conversations and appearances doesn't hurt either. This year, the event didn't disappoint.
The cast of BET's epic miniseries, The New Edition Story, showed support for the initiative.
