While she’s still in the single digits, Riley Curry is already walking in her cookbook-author mother’s footsteps and serving up culinary magic.

Ayesha Curry recently shared a video of her daughter in the kitchen, and Riley definitely proved that she’s a young chef in the making.

Ayesha Curry recently shared a video of her daughter in the kitchen, and Riley definitely proved that she’s a young chef in the making.

“I’m making a chicken piccata with mashed potatoes and honey-roasted carrots,” Riley casually notes while in the kitchen.

Viewers can also see the 9-year-old put floured chicken and halibut into cooking oil like a true pro.

Shortly after that, Ayesha congratulates Riley’s culinary skills.

“It’s lookin’ real good, girl,” the mother of three tells Riley.

In response, the 9-year-old shouts out her mom, Ayesha, for teaching her everything she knows.

“I learned from the best,” Riley adds.

Ayesha then shows off the finished product: halibut and chicken breast (with the sides of mashed potatoes and carrots, of course).

“I’m so happy,” Riley quips.

“So yummy,” Ayesha adds.

Finally, they enjoy the meal, accompanied by sparking grace juice in fancy wine glasses.

Aside from Ayesha, Riley’s aunt also congratulated her for her culinary prowess.

“My nine-year-old niece just made dinner by herself! Thank you, Riley Roo,” her aunt noted on social media.

The video shows that Riley, who the world came to know through her cameo appearances at her father’s interviews, is growing up with some excellent culinary skills. However, since her mother has written a cookbook and currently hosts a Food Network show, it makes sense that the apple didn’t fall far from the tree.

The upload comes on the heels of various Twitter users remarking how much Riley’s grown up, as reported by the Atlanta Black Star.

What were you cooking up in the kitchen when you were Riley’s age, and do you think you could replicate her chicken piccata?
