Stephen Curry took a shot at his wife’s critics after his team defeated the Boston Celtics in Game 5 of the 2022 NBA Finals on Monday. Curry made his statement when he showed up to the postgame press conference wearing a T-shirt that read “Ayesha Curry CAN Cook.”
According to Today, the NBA superstar defended Ayesha Curry after a bar in Boston recently put up a sign that said, “Ayesha Curry Cant Cook.” Another sign at the establishment also compared Deuce, the son of Celtics star Jayson Tatum, to Steph and Ayesha’s daughter, Riley.

“Duece Tatum > Riley Curry,” the sign reads, spelling Deuce’s name incorrectly.
During the postgame press conference, Curry was asked to elaborate on the shirt. The Warriors guard chose not to discuss the story.
“You got to ask around the room and ask Twitter,” he said.
Ayesha, 33, has written several cookbooks. She has also released a line of cookware, People reports. The popular chef is the star of Ayesha’s Home Kitchen on the Food Network. Her cooking includes healthy choices, comfort food inspired by her favorite dishes from her childhood and recipes influenced by her Jamaican roots, according to the Food Network.
